For millenia humanity has been subject to authoritarian cults, both religious and secular. All of these cults wield their psychospiritual power over target populations by weaponising and reinforcing the latter's unhealed trauma to gain contol of the subjects' value systems and trigger desired behaviour.
We are living during a time when the knowledge of this nefarious protocol is revealed to all of us, to empower us and liberate from this ages-old Moloch of mass deception.
At the same time, however, exponential technology has facilitated a new dimension of applying mind control on a global scale. This is another challenge of our times.

The protocol of brainwashing has been the same for thousands of years: use threat, fear, outrage and induce physical or psychological torture to traumatise the target population to gain control over their perceptions, behaviour, and sense of identity. But with the advent of AI and machine learning algorithms, the potential scope of cognitive cruelty has been raised to an unprecedented power.
Here's how to brainwash a population of humans:
1. Isolate the target population and induce a strong negative emotional reaction (commonly fear, outrage or shame) to undermine their capacity for critical assessment of reality; feed the target the information which keeps them in perpetual anxiety while cutting them off from and discrediting all alternative sources of information.
2. Invert communication—the purpose of language put on its head - instead of using communication as a symbolic code designed to truthfully represent reality (which is its real purpose), first ask yourself: "What is my agenda?" Then adapt the words and stories to whatever the goal of your agenda is. To control the perception, you have to control the narrative.
3. Divide and conquer through false dichotomies—pervert the stories and narratives so, that there are only two possible sides to it, following the model of 'good cop/bad cop.' Next dismiss any deviation from the dictated range of discourse will be discarded by your propaganda machine as a 'conspiracy theory' or 'disinformation.' Mobilise an army of "fact-checkers" who dismiss as "fake" any information—accurate or not—which threatens the narrative.
4. Punish truth—whoever dares to expose the inconsistencies of the official narrative is to be ridiculed, discriminated and delegitimised in the eyes of the mob. The mob must feel rightous as it condemns the dissident; use collectivist slogans to further the rhetoric of "the greater good" which will justify the harm inflicted by your crimes of psychological torture inflicted upon the dissident.
The mob will attack truth-tellers and critical thinkers while deceiving itself it's doing the right thing as your rhetoric weaponises human compassion to its neferious ends. You will create perverse insentives to buy the mob’s complience. Make sure to make them feel special and safe, and that their ignorant cruelty is necessary and in service of a greater good. You will do it by applealing to their basest instincts: revenge, greed, pleasure-seeking etc. By corrupting the image of truth your have corrupted the idea of what is moral. Now you can sit back and relax as the mob is on a mission to destroy dissident voices for you.
5. Normalise pathology—continue the cycle of crises indefinitely so as to condition the population to getting re-traumatised. Reinforced trauma also activates the mechanism psychologists call 'splitting' which makes the victim-mob engage in the good cop/bad cop response more easily, thus perpetuating the initial agenda to your advantage as you calmly watch the scenario unfolding exactly as planned.
Once the target population is sufficiently traumatised, its members will develop the Stockholm Syndrome coupled with learned helplessness—they will give up their agency to defend you, the abuser, while seeking redemption your hands.
Now, you can do with them whatever you like
—their sovereignty has been destroyed.
I find it a bit unsettling how little resonance some of these get.
I mean, I am quite late myself, snooping into your latest publications after checking in with your LinkedIn profile before our chat … and then simply be drawn into your writing.
But shouldn't 'we' be more interested in stuff like this?
Maybe it's just really hard to see the lamp if the light is pointed straight at your face.
… change position just a little.
