Thanks for your attention
I’ve always been passionate about writing. I used to make music in addition to my passion for philosophy, but about 12 years ago I had a realisation that my best medium of expression is language.
I share my interests and writing journey in my first article on here so check it out if you’re curious.
As I see it, humanity is going through a major paradigm shift and we are here to participate in it. Language helps us realise what we’re thinking and allows us to communicate not all but certain important aspects of our experience.
With developments in the domain of information technologies such as podcast, video-conferencing and platforms like this one, interfacing of individual consciousnesses has never been easier.
Sharing our thoughts and ideas helps us evolve through seeing ourselves in the ideas of another. Interfacing our ideas expands our understanding of the world and reminds us of the interconnected unity of all intelligence, language being a verbal expression of it.
Thought, word and deed
The way we speak determines the way we think, and the way we think sets the direction in which we act in the world. We should therefore pay critical attention to how we use our language, what we pay attention to and how we can utilise the faculty of speech mindfully and couragously in a time where mass loss of literacy is just around the corner. The complexity of the world we’re living in is greater than our cognitive capacity to make sense of it on our own. So we need each other as they help us notice the cognitive blindspots we would otherwise not acknowledge.
I’ll share my honest thoughts on here and expect honest feedback to improve my thinking, sensemaking and my wrting. I will genuinely appreciate your input—especially if you have a good reason to disagree.
Questioning our assumptions can only lead to better solutions and ways of being for all of us.
See you in the comments.
